The secrets of hotel design and how to incorporate local elements into the accommodation experience will be the focus of a workshop to be held at noon on November 28 as part of the 100% Hotel Show.

100_Hotel_Show_logoEN1Besides hotel design, the day event, curated by online architecture magazine Archisearch and architect Aris Giannopoulos, will also explore hotel branding and hotel promotion to new markets.

The organizer of the event aims to present the current trends and to contribute to the understanding of how the traveler experiences accommodation and hospitality through a holistic approach to design. The workshop invites participants to share ideas and create models that highlight the interaction between the hotel, room, location and culture of a particular destination.

Speakers of the event will include Maya Tsokli (journalist), Dimitris Savakos (creative director at OgilvyOne), Dimitris Karabatakis (architect, co-owner of k-studio) and Dimitris Stefanidis (Partner G Design Studio).

The 100% Hotel Show will take place on November 27-30 at the MEC exhibition center in Peania, eastern Attica, and will focus on issues affecting the modern hotelier.

The Greek Travel Pages (GTP) is a main media sponsor of the exhibition.
