Trade Associations - Gov Greece Explores ways to Strengthen Tourism Ties with Indonesia by GTP editing team 19 November 2015 written by GTP editing team 19 November 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 19 Greece and Indonesia can form tourism ties and cooperate in many sectors, Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura said on Wednesday during a meeting with a delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Indonesia. The 20-member delegation of the Education, Youth, Sports, Culture and Tourism Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Indonesia was on an official visit to Greece and met with Ms Kountoura to explore ways to boost bilateral tourism relations with the country. During the meeting, the head of the Indonesian Delegation requested Greece’s assistance on education issues and know-how relating to the tourism sector in accordance of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both countries in 2007. On her part, Ms. Kountoura thanked the delegation for visiting Greece and promised to include Indonesia in her program of visits abroad to introduce Greece to new markets in the Asian continent.
