The Technological Educational Institute of Athens (TEI) presented it post-graduate program in tourism studies last week at an Athens hotel. Titled “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Tourism”, the Master’s studies program is a collaborative effort between the TEI Athens, the Business Administration Department of the Aegean University and the National Centre for Social Research (EKKE). The 18-month program will include classes in Business Administration and Hospitality, Management of Tourist Destinations and Tourism Administration of Health & Wellness and will be taught by academics and experts from the tourism and business sectors. The school is now in the process of accepting applications for the 2nd phase of the Master’s program. The deadline to apply is December 14 with classes set to start on January 12 and held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 4pm and 9pm at the Athens TEI campus. The degree awarded to students who complete the program is equivalent to a Master of Science in Tourism Entrepreneurship.
