Many Greek heritage items from the ancient to modern times will travel to and across Russia to be shown to our Russian friends”, Polykarpos Efstathiou, Director of the GNTO in Russia and CIS, said. “It is not just exhibitions or theatre shows, it is a warm welcome to all of the Russian citizens to travel to Greece – a home to our common values and a safe destination for all”, Mr Efstathiou added. “Welcome Home” The “Welcome Home” motto will be used to promote the “Year of Greece” in Russia. The motto is part of a philosophy that all Greeks share and is an invitation for visitors to indulge in Greek culture in Moscow.
