The fam trip took place November 13-16 and aimed to give Singapore’s travel agents a “taste” of Greek hospitality, the chance to visit two of the most popular destinations in the country — Athens and Nafplion — and to live the experience of traveling with Turkish Airlines. Turkish Airlines’ role as co-organizer of the fam trip falls under the airline’s initiatives to enhance tourism to Greece. “It was a great pleasure for us to organize this fam trip and welcome travel agents from Singapore, hence such activities help tourism in Greece”, Alp Yavuzeser, Turkish Airlines General Manager in Greece, said. “The contribution of Turkish Airlines was determinative, as flights to and from Singapore, bring closer these two countries”, he added. During their stay in Athens, the travel agents visited the new Acropolis Museum, Acropolis and Plaka area. According to Turkish Airlines, all travel agents stated particularly pleased with their stay in Greece, having experienced the beauty of the country and the so-called “Greek hospitality”. Following their trip to Greece, the travel agents expressed their willingness to consider Greece’s various features in order to promote them in Singapore.
