small_luxury_hotelsIn celebration of its 25th anniversary, the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), a luxury brand for the world’s finest small, independent hotels, has launched a travel agent loyalty programme.

The programme “Small Luxury Heroes” rewards loyal travel agents for their commitment to the SLH brand by offering a variety of rewards ranging from Amazon gift cards to SLH Gift Certificates and complimentary reward nights.

According to SLH, reservations by travel agents account for almost two thirds of all SLH bookings and are vital to the success and growth of the business.

“Travel agents are the heroes of our business”, Filip Boyen, CEO for SLH, said.

“We hope that by launching Small Luxury Heroes we can further inspire them to champion the SLH brand by providing a platform through which they can better engage with their peers and our hotels.”

Kick off incentive

All travel agents that register for the programme before January 31, 2016, are entered into a prize draw to win one of 25 USD $1,000 SLH Gift Certificates.

These vouchers can be used towards a stay at any of the luxury brand’s 520 hotels in over 80 countries around the world.

Agents who register to become Small Luxury Heroes at agents.slh.com will receive a Luxury Agent ID (LX ID number) linked to their profile on the SLH travel agents website which they can enter when making reservations via SLH channels — GDS, call centre or SLH.com. Each booking will earn points based on overall value which will accumulate and can be redeemed when the agent wishes, either as regular small rewards or by building points for one of larger value.
