Third ‘100% Hotel Show’ Celebrates Rise in Visitor Numbers

The fourth 100% Hotel Show will be held on November 25-28, 2016

The 100% Hotel Show, the Greek exhibition addressed especially to hoteliers, saw a 35 percent rise in visitors at its third edition held on November 27-30 at the MEC exhibition center, according to the organizer DEMAND.

“We are proud that we have managed to present an innovative, upscale proposal to the Greek tourism market, which was warmly embraced by the public”, DEMAND’s founder, Dimitris Antonakos, said in an announcement.

Visiting hoteliers at the third 100% Hotel Show received advice for smart hotel renovation projects by young and renowned architects, discovered viable solutions for hotel development from the 120 exhibitors and had the chance to meet up with some of Greece’s leading travel agencies at the innovative GTP Island networking section.

Aiming to inform hoteliers on all they need to know on hotel development, the 100% Hotel Show also offered free access to interactive workshops that presented a series of solutions for hoteliers to design their hotel, boost customer experience, increase bookings and grow revenue. Over 1,000 participants attended the Hotelier Workshops, according to DEMAND.

“The quality, high aesthetics and design character of the majority of the stands played a determining role in establishing the event as a high-level boutique exhibition, which does not aim to simply attract massive visitors but focuses on further strengthening the visitation of hoteliers, entrepreneurs and professionals of the wider tourism industry”, Mr Antonakos added.

Highlight: 100% Hotel Design Awards 2015 – participating projects

Among highlights of the exhibition were the participating projects for this year’s 100% Hotel Design Awards, which showed Greek hotel design at its finest and were on display in a designated space at the fair’s entrance.

The announcement of the final winners of the 100% Hotel Design Awards will take place in February 2016, during a special event.

The fourth edition of the 100% Hotel Show will be held on November 25-28, 2016.
