Brainstorming Ahead of S. Aegean Region’s Tourism Strategy

South Aegean Region authorities invited Dodecanese tourism professionals to a brainstorming event last week with the aim of collecting as much data and ideas as possible ahead of the official presentation of its three-year tourism strategy.

South_Aegean_2Carried out in collaboration with InSETE and Μarketing Greece, the study/strategy will be presented next month during a special event in Athens organized by the South Aegean Region.

Sector professionals had the chance to share ideas and speak about the challenges ahead while gaining insight into the the specifics of the project.

The South Aegean Region makes up 40 percent of the country’s tourism product.

“In order to achieve our goal, all parties involved and benefiting from tourism on a local and national level must be united,” said South Aegean Region Deputy Prefect for Tourism, Marietta Papavasiliou.
