Participants had the chance to learn more about Greek destinations, accommodation and activity options, sample some of the country’s finest foods and wines, and book their Greece holidays with Polish tour operators on the spot. Organized by tourism consultants North Events, the three-day fair attracted hundreds of visitors. According to Polish tourism professionals, Greece remains at the top of holidaymakers’ choice destinations as demonstrated by the more than 700,000 Polish travelers who visited Greece in 2015. Tourism experts estimate that 2016 will see a further 5 percent to 10 percent increase in the number of arrivals from Poland. In the meantime, the 3rd Grekland Panorama is scheduled to run at Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe, on February 12-14. The Grecka Panorama-CYPR expo was made possible thanks to the support of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Embassy of Greece in Warsaw, the Greek National Tourism Organization, the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Hellenic Hotel Federation, the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA), the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Polish Tour Operators Association (PZOT) and the Association of Greek Entrepreneurs in Poland “Hermes”. The Greek Travel Pages (GTP) was a main media sponsor of the fair. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
