The celebrated Greek tenor will present his latest work “Tales of Christmas” to some 400 guests, accompanied by a pianist and a string quartet, with proceeds going to support the British Red Cross and Hellenes & Philhellenes Worldwide charities. The concert will include a performance of Christmas songs recorded in Abbey Road Studios. A reception with an exhibition of artworks from Greek and Philhellene artists, such as Stella Viopoulou – Voulgaraki, Konstantinos Kapetanopoulos, Mina Kordali and Evangelos Konstantelos, will follow. The evening will come to a close with a formal dinner, which will include a charity auction and raffle with prizes donated by dozens of Greek, UK and international businesses. Honourable guests include Princess Katarina of Yugoslavia and Serbia, Prince Abdullah Alsaud of Saudi Arabia, Lady Colin Campbell, the President of the British Red Cross London Lady Lamport, the Vice-President of the British Red Cross London Solangela Garbutt, the Greek Ambassador to the UK Konstantinos Bikas and the High Commissioner of Cyprus Euripides Evriviades.
