The Salvation Army is seeking to accommodate groups of refugees for a few days: from their arrival in Greece until they are supplied with the necessary documents and allowed to continue their journey to their final destination. The Salvation Army is also in need of the following goods: For children: pacifiers, diapers / nappies, socks, hats, baby sling (to carry the baby), babywipes, paracetamol for children, baby milk powder, water proof coats, winter clothes For women: underwear, multi-purpose crème (travel size, e.g. nivea), sanitary towels (no tampons), shawls, socks, water proof coats, winter clothes For men: underwear/boxers, socks, hats/beanies, water proof coats, winter clothes Mixed: toothbrushes, toothpaste, backpacks, poncho’s (preferably higher quality than single use), paracetamol, antidiarrheal medicine, blankets/sleeping bags/fleece, travel size shampoo/bodywash, soap, plastic for floor cover or shelter, tents, towels Those who would like to offer assistance may directly contact the organization on 2114112357 or visit www.salvationarmy.gr.
