Event News Aqua Vista: Santorini Cooking Classes Available for Tourists by GTP editing team 18 January 2016 written by GTP editing team 18 January 2016 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 True to its philosophy that experiences make or break a holiday, Aqua Vista Hotels invites patrons to… cook. Guests of Aqua Vista hotels on Santorini now have the chance to participate in three-hour cooking classes, learn more about local products as well as put the know-how into practice whipping up some of the Mediterranean cuisine’s best recipes in true traditional fashion. A taste of what’s in store? Santorini fava beans with capers, fresh onions and extra virgin olive oil, traditional “tomatokeftedes” (fried tomato balls dressed with yogurt and dill sauce) and shrimp “saganaki” with tomato and feta cheese sauce… just for starters. Participants cook their own food guided by a professional chef and then enjoy a proper lunch or dinner with all the courses they’ve prepared. The idea is to gain the experience and be able to cook up a traditional Greek meal for friends and family while taking the sights and aromas of Greece back home. Cooking lessons run every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting at 1pm in Fira at “The Bone” restaurant. Participation costs 60 euros per person and includes lunch. Make sure to book on info@santorinigastronomy.com, via phone on 6988-382599 or www.santorinicookingclasses.com The Bone restaurant. Founded in 2009, hotel management/marketing operators Aqua Vista boast an impressive line-up of some of the world’s most beautiful hotels situated in stunning locations and offering the finest services on the market. Their Greece portfolio includes hotels on the Greek islands of Crete, Folegandros, Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini, Lesvos, Skiathos and Paphos in Cyprus.
