The Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) celebrated its annual event for the cutting of the Vasilopita (Greek New Year’s cake) on Wednesday, January 13.

The occasion took place at HATTA’s offices in central Athens and included the traditional blessing and was attended by members of the association.

HATTA members exchanged wishes for a Happy New Year for 2016 with health and optimism.

2016 is expected to be a lucky year for Gogo Apostolopoulou, a member of HATTA’s staff, who won the flouri (lucky coin), which was hidden in the cake.
