Company updates Wedding Styled Shoot by BOND Events at Cape Sounio Resort by GTP editing team 19 January 2016 written by GTP editing team 19 January 2016 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 4 Luxury and elegance took center stage in a wedding styled shoot inspired by the story of King Midas in Greek mythology, known for his power to turn everything he touches into gold. With Cape Sounio Resort as the venue for the shoot and the nearby ancient Poseidon Temple combined with the Mediterranean coast line to set the scene, BOND Events team designed and organized an editorial shoot that made the myth and inspiration come alive for today’s sophisticated couple. BOND Events, a destination event planning company based in Athens, well known for designing and organizing exclusive weddings and private events all over Greece, worked closely with a London-based creative team to meticulously execute the design and concept for the shoot. Abundant floral displays in marsala, plums and subtle pinks complemented the dramatic golden touches and all other sophisticated details of the set-up. Hydrangeas, David Austin and Avalanche roses, mixed with ranunculus and dahlias created impressive arrangements. Reflected from underneath by the golden table top gave a visual impression of the florals multiplying. The first look of the day also took inspiration from the warm rays of the mid-day sun touching everything in sight and leaving glimmering slivers of the sea. The evening look of the editorial focused on subtle taupe colours to achieve a simple yet elegant look at sunset paired with the impressive structure of the Poseidon Temple. The fine art photography portrays the refined elegance and the story of the couple in a place they love most.
