Recruitments Grivalia Properties Appoints Stefanos Vlastos as New Hospitality Director by GTP editing team 20 January 2016 written by GTP editing team 20 January 2016 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 5 Aiming to strengthening its presence in the field of tourism real estate, leading Greek real estate investment company Grivalia Properties REIC recently announced that Stefanos Vlastos has been appointed to the newly created position of Hospitality Director. “We are very optimistic about our new venture in tourism properties and are convinced that over time we will add value to Greece through the further development of the Greek tourism sector”, Yiorgos Chryssikos, chief executive of Grivalia Properties REIC, said in a statement. “Stefanos is a person that fits in perfectly with our management team and we wish him every success in his new role.” For the past five years, Mr. Vlastos served as president and CEO in companies of ComMit Group – DIAS Ventures. He had previously served as Executive Secretary of the Greek ministries of Education and Tourism. Over the course of his career, Mr. Vlastos has held management positions in the French consulting company “YLIOS Hellas”, at Bear Stearns International Ltd (now JPMorgan Chase & Co), at the Credit Commercial de France (now HSBC Bank) and the Banque des Dépôts CH (currently EFG Intl.). He holds an MBA in Business from SDA Bocconi from SDA Bocconi and his first degree in Economics from the (VUB) Vrije Universiteit Brussel. “I am pleased to be an active member of Grivalia Properties REIC through the department of tourism real estate, a sector in which the company’s management focuses on significantly, aiming to dynamically enhance its range of activities and presence in the field of tourism real estate, which is showing significant restructuring prospects” Mr Vlastos told the Greek Travel Pages (GTP). “I believe that our perspective, goals and values will contribute greatly to reposition the Greek tourism product and develop the tourism sector, which is the main pillar of the Greek economy”, he added. Grivalia Properties REIC is amongst the 20 strongest companies in the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE).
