Starting from 12 noon, a three-part programme — a puppet show, chamber music and funky musical trips — will take place at the Departures – Airport’s Shopping Centre area: Puppet show by Helen Vogiatzidou 12:00 – 12:20 The programme starts with Helen Vogiatzidou’s puppet show for kids entitled Ice Dream, which describes a complicated everyday life, where wishes are not as simple as they initially seemed to be. Chamber music for two violoncellos 12:40 – 13:00 Two acknowledged cello soloists, Aggelos Liakakis and Alexis Karaiskakis – Nastos will take everyone on a musical journey from Early Music to European avant-garde. Alexis Karaiskakis – Nastos is one of the most promising young cello soloist in Greece and member of Camerata / Armonia Atenea. “Ap’ Allou” Quartet 13:10 – 13:40 The quartet “Ap’ Allou” will then take the stage and offer a joyful dance programme, varying from funky Balkan rumbas and gypsy belly dancing, to their own dynamic contemporary compositions.
