Under the joint partnership, City College students and post-graduates specializing in tourism and leisure management will be able to enhance their training via internships and employment opportunities at Domotel’s hotels and resorts. In the meantime, Domotel managers will be offering courses and providing guidance on projects and case studies focusing on the group’s accommodation units. Konstantinos Alexopoulos, CEO of Domotel Hotels & Resorts. “Domotel Hotels & Resorts welcomes the cooperation with City College with unwavering faith in the significant contribution that applied academic knowledge will have in the reinvention of the Greek tourism product,” said Domotel Hotels & Resorts CEO, Konstantinos Alexopoulos. “Promotional and development actions are already being developed on a theoretical and practical level with our team eager to pass on the knowhow which combined with City College programs will offer professional training of the highest standard.” “We are delighted to launch this partnership. Linking knowledge to entrepreneurship is essential for the proper training and preparation of our students and for their integration into the labor market. Especially in an industry such as tourism which continues to evolve. We believe that our students have a lot to learn from a company like Domotel,” said Dimitris Nicolaides, director of the Management and Economics Department, City College, International Department at the University of Sheffield. The Domotel chain of boutique and lifestyle hotels currently operates units in Athens, Thessaloniki, Volos, Sivota, Kaimaktsalan, Karditsa and Arachova-Delphi.
