More fun than ever! Greek carrier Aegean Airlines last week launched an offer to make family travel even more affordable. Parents who book a flight for their family by February 21 on Aegean’s domestic and international network will receive a 33 percent discount if their child is up to 12 years old. Infants will travel for free and are allowed an extra hand luggage. The offer applies for flights until June 15. The special offer is part of the airline’s “ΑEGEAN for Families” bundle of services, which are exclusively designed to make family travel by airplane a pleasurable, smooth and entertaining experience for all family members. Aiming to satisfy every passenger’s needs, Aegean’s new services for families concern all travelling phases: from the moment a family plans and organises its trip until its completion. The company’s updated website aegeanair.com displays in details all services, together with a dedicated section especially designed for families, providing all necessary information and tips to better organise a trip with children and infants. Aegean has also seen that family travel is further facilitated at the airports. At Athens, Thessaloniki and Larnaca airports, families may drop off their luggage at dedicated counters. Furthermore, in all Aegean flights, families are given priority when boarding at all airports. Children can now be entertained creatively during international flights, with the new series of activities Aegean Junior Pilots and enjoy a new tasty and fun children’s menu, created especially for them. The new “AEGEAN for Families” services were created following several months of insightful research and study on how modern Greek families travel, to respond to all concerns that can limit the joy of travelling for families.
