tangart_posterOn Valentine’s Day, Athens International Airport (AIA) will host six professional dance couples of the “TANGart, reflections of tango” group who will give a mesmerizing show and lure visitors and passengers of the airport into the world of Argentine tango, under the melodies of the traditional bandoneon.

The performances will take place from 12 noon to 1pm at the open access area on the departures level at the airport’s shopping center.

The group TANGart, reflections of tango was founded by Thodoris Georgedakis and Evelina Sarantopoulou in Athens, in 2011 and it has been devoted to the study, promotion and teaching of all the “reflections” of Argentine tango, in terms of dance, music and culture.

The Argentine tango performances are part of the Fly me to the Moon concept, a manifold cooperation between AIA and ελculture cultural platform.
