Some of the world’s finest academics, scientists and experts will be sharing their “Outlook for Greece and the Region Vision 2020-2030” at this year’s Delphi Economic Forum, which kicks off Thursday, February 25, at the European Cultural Centre of Delphi and runs through to Sunday, February 28.

Delphi_Economic_ForumOrganized with the support of the Central Greece Region and the Delphi Municipality, the three-day event invites some 140 decision-makers, private and public sector stake-holders and finance experts to engage in a discussion on how to best address long-term challenges, respond with effective solutions and how to formulate a policy framework that will set the grounds for Greece’s socio-economic transformation and revival.

Among the 20 key issues to explored are the changes in the international geopolitical balance of power, challenges facing the Eastern Mediterranean region and the constitutional dilemmas and long-term growth prospects in Greece.

Participants include ministers and top government officials, frontline opposition representatives, EU commissioners, executives of global bodies including the World Bank, the European Investment Fund, the European Commission and the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF).
