The “Sympossio” Greek gourmet touring event, an initiative of Aldemar Resorts, will soon embark on its seventh journey to European cities to promote Greece’s products and gastronomic culture.

profile_photo_sympossioThe seventh edition of the “Sympossio” will see distinguished chefs visit eight European countries over a period of two months: Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, France, Israel and the United Kingdom.

This year’s Sympossio event will bring Europeans closer to “Greek Street Food” and showcase the modern eating habits of the Greeks, which are closely connected with the modern trends of the European diet and lifestyle.

The event’s “Greek Street Food” concept will also reveal the features dating back from the ancient Greek philosophy of the sympossio, which sees food as a collective living experience; an experience during which people once again become sociable around the table.
