As part of Alternate Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura’s delegation, HATTA members met with Iran tourism officials and professionals during the Tehran International Tourism Exhibition (TITE) to discuss collaborations, ways to strengthen the exchange of know-how and a friendlier visa regime. Participating HATTA members included Aktina Travel Group, Ambotis Tours, Amphitrion Holidays, Deltanet Travel, Kalamaki Travel, Kyvernitis Travel & Shipping, Mideast Travel Worldwide, Mouzenidis Travel, Signature Travel, The Travel Company and Travel Directions. In the meantime, national carrier Aegean Airlines will playing a major role in bringing the Iranian market closer to Greece by running direct flights between Tehran and Athens.
