Ethos, Thessaloniki Int’l Fair Team Up for Greek Hospitality Awards 2016

The deadline for nominations in the Greek Hospitality Awards 2016 has been extended to April 1, with the Ethos Events and the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF)-HELEXPO teaming up for the event to be held on April 22 at the Ethniki Asfalistiki Conference Center in Athens.

Rewarding excellence in the Greek hotels sector, a total of 63 prizes will be presented in four categories. Held under the auspices of the Economy, Development & Tourism Ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the awards reward businesses that stand out for innovative practices and efficient organization.

Two “firsts” this year will be the introduction of the “Top Greek Hotel” award and the collaboration of tour operators based in countries with a high interest in Greece (ie UK, Germany, Russia).

The awards are open to all hotel enterprises in Greece possessing an operating license issued by the GNTO. More about the entry procedure and cost as well as to submit entries, can be found here.
