Ryanair Launches Mykonos-Athens Service

Europe’s low fares airline Ryanair on Thursday launched its new route from Mykonos to Athens.

Ryanair_Athens_Mykonos_2“Ryanair is pleased to be launching a new route from Mykonos to Athens and to offer even more possibilities for Greek customers and visitors to discover the beauties of Greece”, the carrier’s sales and marketing manager for Greece, Chiara Ravara said.

The service between the popular island of Mykonos and the Greek capital will operate five times weekly.

“We welcome Ryanair to Mykonos and believe that this partnership will be beneficial for both sides”, the Mayor of Mykonos Kostas Koukas said on the occasion of the inaugural Mykonos – Athens service.

“I wish Ryanair a lot of successful flights to and from Mykonos and look forward to more routes during the winter season or from international destinations”, Mayor Koukas added.

To celebrate the first flight from Mykonos to Athens, Ryanair has released seats on sale from 16,99 euros for travel in May, which are available for booking until midnight Monday, April 4.
