The Athens-Philadelphia route will operate daily by an Airbus A330-300 and depart from Athens at 11:35am and arrive in Philadelphia at 3:30pm. The return flight will depart from Philadelphia at 4:25pm and arrive in Athens the following day at 9:15am. All times are local.

“2015 was an all-time high record for us, with the highest passenger numbers since our beginning of operations. With foreign visitors up by 26 percent and the USA market growing at double-digit rates, American Airlines, a world leader airline, is a key-player and a significant contributor to this growth”, said Ioanna Papadopoulou, the director of communications & marketing at Athens International Airport (AIA), on the occasion of the new service.

“We remain committed to continue cooperating closely with our airline partner, supporting its developmental efforts and plans for further expansion and growth in the Athens market.”
