AEGEAN, Olympic Air Flight Cancellations Due to 24-hour Strike on Thursday, April 7

Aegean Airlines and Olympic Air are being forced to cancel and reschedule flights which were due to operate on Wednesday, April 6 and Thursday, April 7, as a result of a 24-hour general strike announced by Greece’s public sector union, ADEDY, in which air traffic controllers and aeronautical telecommunication officers will participate.

The following AEGEAN flights which were due to operate on Wednesday, April 6^th 2016, have been cancelled:

• Α3 948 Athens – Tehran
• Α3 949 Tehran – Athens
• Α3 930 Athens – Cairo
• Α3 940 Athens – Amman
• Α3 928 Athens – Tel Aviv
• Α3 936 Athens – Beirut
• Α3 932 Athens – Yerevan

In addition, the following AEGEAN and Olympic Air flights which were due to operate on Wednesday, April 6^th 2016, have been rescheduled:

• Α3 608 Athens – London, Departure from Athens at 14:25 instead of 19:10
• A3 609 London – Athens, Departure from London at 17:30 instead of 22:15
• A3 614 Athens – Paris, Departure from Athens at 15:50 instead of 17:25
• A3 615 Paris – Athens, Departure from Paris at 19:00 instead of 20:35
• A3 510 Thessaloniki – Stuttgart, Departure from Thessaloniki at 16:30 instead of 17:30
• A3 511 Stuttgart – Thessaloniki, Departure from Stuttgart at 18:50 instead of 19:50
• A3  510 Athens – Thessaloniki, Departure from Athens at 15:00 instead of 16:00
• A3 511 Thessaloniki – Athens, Departure from Thessaloniki at 22:55 instead of 23:55
• ΟΑ 148 Athens – Alexandroupolis, Departure from Athens at 21:15 instead of 22:00
• ΟΑ 149 Alexandroupolis – Athens, Departure from Alexandroupolis at 22:45 instead of 23:30

On April 7^th 2016, AEGEAN and Olympic Air have been forced to cancel all their flights apart from 7 international flight sectors which will be operated as originally scheduled, as well as to reschedule 2 international flight sectors.

On April, 7^th 2016 the following AEGEAN flights will be operated as originally scheduled:

• Α3 749 Tel Aviv – Larnaca
• Α3 756 Larnaca – Tel Aviv
• Α3 757 Tel Aviv – Larnaca
• Α3 772 Larnaca – London
• Α3 773 London – Larnaca
• Α3 770 Larnaca – Paris
• Α3 771 Paris – Larnaca

On 7^th of April 2016 the following AEGEAN flights will be rescheduled:

• A3 946 Athens – Jeddah, Departure from Athens at 00:05 (April 8^th) instead of 23:10 (April 7^th)
• Α3 998 Athens – Izmir , Departure from Athens at 00:05 (April 8^th) instead of 23:30 (April 7^th)
  

Furthermore, on April 8^th 2016 the following AEGEAN flight will be rescheduled:

• A3 947 Jeddah – Athens, Departure from Jeddah at 04:40 instead of 03:45
