Rome has been the top Easter destination for the Greeks since 2014. According to Trivago’s research, although Rome is their first selection, the Greeks this year are opting to spend the Easter holidays in more local destinations as opposed to last year’s top 15. The destinations of Corfu, Nafplio, Chania, Rhodes and Ioannina are among their picks. In 2015, the only Greek destination of the top 15 was the Ionian island of Corfu.
