Kicking off on July 8 and running through to August 13, the Sani Festival 2016 includes everything from eclectic jazz and classical music to up-and-coming artists of the international scene as well as much-loved local performers. Among them British artist Joss Stone on July 29, UK violin virtuoso Daniel Hope on August 13, promising German jazz pianist Michael Wollny on July 8, Israeli pianist Yaron Herman on July 9, and Japanese multi-faceted musical figure Hiromi, among others. The festival will, of course, include acclaimed Greek performers among them Alkistis Protopsalti, Eleni Vitali and Dionysis Savvopoulos. “At this year’s 24th edition of the Sani Festival we are seeking to expand the artistic limits between searching and reconnecting,” the festival’s artistic director, Olga Tambouri-Babali, said of this year’s programme. 24th Sani Festival – full program Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
