egyptair-aircraft_1EgyptAir, the national airline of Egypt, has added a second daily flight between Cairo and Athens International Airport in Greece.

The airline’s new flight will take place every evening from Athens to Cairo in addition to its morning flight.

EgyptAir also operates flights to Alexandria every Monday and Friday.

Customers flying on EgyptAir should note that on all flights they are allowed two pieces of luggage (23 kg each) free of charge. Transit flight passengers that will have to spend the night in Cairo until their next flight, have the possibility of staying for free at a five-star hotel room. Also, transit flight passengers that have a six to ten-hour layover in Cairo are entitled to pass their time either by staying in a five-star hotel room or by taking a free tour to Cairo, the Nile and the Pyramids (if the visit take place outside working hours, a free lunch is offered to passengers overlooking the site of the Pyramids).
