Organized by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and sponsored by Green Evolution SA, the three-day intensive training program — in English — covers sustainability best practices and offers in-depth understanding of the GSTC criteria applicable for hotels, tour operators and destinations. The GSTC criteria are leading international standards for tourism sustainability. The GSTC program aims to help strengthen awareness of sustainable tourism through practical tips and achievable steps and includes learning from relevant local and international best practice examples. Participants will gain expert advice on how to start implementing sustainability management practices and on how to improve sustainability performance through specific actions, including making informed decisions as well as establishing viable and actionable sustainable tourism policies and practices for their businesses.
