Chinese Central Television (CCTV) and cable network Liaoning Television are in Greece this month to film among others a 12-episode documentary titled “The Radiance of the Aegean”. Exploring ancient Greek civilisation and culture, the series will be presented by prominent Chinese historian and academic Zhao Lin. Organized with the support of the GNTO office in China, filming by a 70-member crew took place in Athens, Thessaloniki, Nafplion, Olympia, Delphi, Pella, Mykonos, Santorini and Crete. In the meantime, the GNTO hosted tour operators and international media representatives this month during fam and press trips which included Estonia’s Teztour on Crete focusing on luxury travel.
