The Durex study asked 2,000 adults about their plans for sex while on vacation with 52 percent saying they expect better sex but 60 percent of those admitting that it just did not happen. Why? Well, according to the condom brand’s survey, 40 percent of the participants said they were less likely to instigate sex if their partner was on the phone in bed and 41 percent went as far as to say that holiday nights can be spent in bed with their partner each looking at their phones… instead of each other. And not only are holiday pairs not having sex, they’re getting into arguments too over digital distractions, with more than a quarter admitting that checking phones on holiday can cause rows. In efforts to verify the findings, Durex called on real couples while on holiday to join a filmed social experiment which divided them into those with and those without technology. The result? The #DoNotDisturb experiment which hit the spot with over 3 million views in under 24 hours: Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
