The General Panhellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises (GEPOET) recently announced its new Board of Directors. Kostas Palaskonis remains president of the federation. “The new composition of the Board of Directors confirms the strong support the Greek regions show the federation, as beyond representation from Athens there is a strong presence of local unions of travel agencies and tourist coach companies from Crete, Corfu, Macedonia-Thrace, Rhodes, Dodecanese Islands and Western Greece”, GEPOET said in a statement. The federation underlined that the new Board reveals its diversity and multifaceted character as it is represented all individual activities of travel agencies (inbound and outbound tourism, tour operating, ticketing, cruise), shipping agents and coaches among others.
