According to an announcement, Ellinair will resume flights between Thessaloniki and Athens from June 17. The airline will fly twice a week between the two Greek cities, every Friday and Sunday, on Airbus A319 aircraft. Ellinair is also increasing the frequency of its Thessaloniki – Heraklion route and from June 13 will offer flights between the two destinations four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday). Also, this summer, Santorini will be connected again with Athens and Thessaloniki. The Thessaloniki – Santorini route will be performed four times a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday) and the Athens – Santorini route will take place three times a week (Monday, Wednesday Friday). New routes Moreover, Ellinair will launch the Heraklion – Santorini route and offer flights twice a week, every Monday and Wednesday. The airline will fly Boeing 737 aircraft on the route. On June 26, the airline will begin flights between Thessaloniki and Rhodes two times a week, every Tuesday and Sunday, on Airbus A319 aircraft. Ellinair also announced that as of July 7 it will launch the Thessaloniki – Kythira route and offer flights twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday. The airline will fly Avro RJ85 aircraft on the route. Passengers on Ellinair can travel with baggage weighing up to 20 kg, free of charge, as well as hand luggage 5-8 kg, depending on the aircraft type.
