Avra Imperial’s Spa Honored with Design Award at Greek Architecture Competition

Architects Vassilis Labrinos and Anna Labrinou of MM Group Consulting Engineers.The architecture of the spa of the Avra Imperial Beach Resort & Spa, located in Chania, Crete, was honored during the 100% Hotel Design Awards for 2015 at a ceremony held at the old Peloponnese train station in Athens on Sunday.

“This architectural award for ‘Best Spa’ is the result of exceptional work and a successful cooperation between the Avra Imperial and the MM Group Consulting Engineers”, it was announced during the ceremony.

Architects Vassilis Labrinos and Anna Labrinou of MM Group Consulting Engineers are the names behind the architectural plans of the 5-star Avra Imperial Beach Resort & Spa, which blend the luxury hotel in absolute harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

In its second year, the 100% Hotel Design Awards is a national architecture competition that aims to highlight the determining role design can play in hotel decoration and renovation and present the most innovative and functional ideas that have been implemented in the hospitality industry.

The 100% Hotel Design Awards is part of the Greek exhibition “100% Hotel Show” that is addressed especially to hoteliers and tourism professionals. The 100% Hotel Show 2016 will be held on November 25-28 at the MEC Peania exhibition center.
