Dodekanisos Seaways Announces Discounts up to 50% on Ferry Tickets

Greek ferry operator Dodekanisos Seaways has announced discounts on tickets to all of the destinations it covers in an aim to boost tourist arrivals to the islands of the Dodecanese and of the Samos prefecture (Samos – Ikaria – Fourni).

According to an announcement, round trip ticket holders will receive a 20 percent to 30 percent discount on the return ticket fare. Ferry tickets for day trips to all destinations will receive a discount of 30 percent to 50 percent.

Discounts will also be granted to organized groups of passengers, for social events and for multiple journeys. Dodekanisos Bonus Ways cardholders are offered a 10 percent discount on fares and are eligible for a free ticket if they redeem their miles.

In an announcement, Dodekanisos Seaways said that it has absorbed the recent increase of the value-added tax (VAT) and has not raised ticket prices.

“This is yet another attempt of the company to really operate for the benefit of the traveling public and of the residents of the 17 destinations it covers”, the ferry operator said.

Last December, Dodekanisos Seaways was honored with the Passenger Line of the Year award at Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards 2015.
