Marriott International is placing its bets on Crete with a second hotel on the island, the adults-only Domes Noruz, set to open on July 15, the company announced on Wednesday.

Domes_Noruz_Chania_logoA member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection Hotels, the new five-star beachfront resort is situated in the town of Chania and boasts 83 rooms and suites catering to adults only and offering a holiday of privacy, intimacy and exclusivity. Rooms and suites come complete with stunning pool and sea views as well as private plunge pools and access to a beautiful sandy beach.

“Noruz” means “new light” and that’s exactly what the Domes Noruz aims to offer its visitors through warm hospitality, fine quality and unique experiences including helicopter rides to the breathtaking Samaria Gorge — an UNESCO World Heritage site.

Add to this private yoga lessons, spa therapy, natural massage, and of course the best culinary experience overseen by award-winning chef, Doxis Bekris, and you get a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

As the portfolio grows in Greece, in a country where Autograph Collection has been so well received with Domes of Elounda, we believe that Domes Noruz Chania truly embodies the philosophy of our collection by showcasing unique attributes ensuring that the brand’s offering is nothing short of exactly like nothing else,” John Licence, brand leader for Autograph Collection Hotels in Europe, said.

Domes Noruz Chania is a sister hotel of Domes of Elounda, both Autograph Collection Hotels.

Maryland-based Marriott International, is a global leader in accommodation  with over 4,300 properties in 81 countries and territories.
