Six Italian journalists from key media outlets (ANSA and ASKA.NEWS news agencies and newspapers La Stampa, Agenzia di Viaggi, Guida Viaggi, Turismo & Attualità) are currently on Samos to observe the island’s beauty and transfer their Greek hospitality experience to the Italian audience.

The press trip is being held under the organization of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) with the assistance of the Municipality of Samos.

Moreover, a journalist from UK newspaper Telegraph is also scheduled to be hosted on the island during July 15 to 19. The journalist will write an extensive feature on Samos and promote it as an ideal holiday destination for British travellers.

Meanwhile, on June 22, a team from National Geographic Traveler was in Athens and prepared a feature on the destination. Also last month, 21 Russian bloggers visites Chios, Lesvos, Samos, Kos, Rhodes, Crete, Evia, Delphi, Meteora, Volos and Pelion.
