Through a Facebook contest that was ran all week, Emirates offered the chance to over 1,000 visitors to win tickets by taking part in a fun, online game, where they had to successfully link five film festivals to the countries of origin. The prize was a double invitation for watching a movie at the open air cinema, selecting between the “The Jungle Book” for families and “Florence Foster Jenkins” for adults. Emirates in-flight experience was brought to land and guests had the unique opportunity to meet the services offered on board during the movies. Free beverages, popcorn and nachos were offered to all guests, while Emirates’ hosts attended the guests to make sure they received the trademark hospitality. A special surprise also awaited Emirates’ little friends, as Leila the Camel of the “Fly with me” animal collection (offered to children onboard) welcomed them and was available for pictures. Guests enjoyed luxurious hospitality replicating the quality services Emirates offers to all classes, while back to back screenings gave them just a glimpse of the Emirates in-flight entertainment experience. The airline’s multi-awarded ICE in-flight entertainment system, introduced in 2003, is now featuring over 2,500 channels including multiple movies, podcasts and music in Greek, making the choices endless and personalized comfort a given when travelling with Emirates.
