AEGEAN Wins ‘Best Regional Airline in Europe’ Award from Skytrax

AEGEAN, a member of Star Alliance, has won the award for Best Regional Airline in Europe for the sixth consecutive year at the 2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards held on Tuesday at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are widely known as the Passengers Choice Awards with people of more than 104 different nationalities participating in passenger satisfaction surveys covering over 280 airlines.

“All of us at AEGEAN are delighted to receive this important award for the 6th year in a row. This award motivates us to do more for our customers’ needs. We remain focused on the enhancement of our services and we are proud that our effort has been recognized by the passengers”, Dimitris Gerogiannis, CEO of AEGEAN, said.

The customer surveys ran from August 2015 until May 2016 and measured quality standards across 41 key performance indicators of front-line product and service.
