Skytrax Awards 2016: Austrian Airlines has Best Staff Service in Europe

Austrian Airlines’ service on the ground and in the air was honored a first place rating in the category “Best Airline Staff Service in Europe” for the third time in a row at the 2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards, held last week at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.

Based on the results of the largest airline passenger satisfaction survey in the industry, the World’s Best Airline Awards are considered a global benchmark of airline excellence.

“In terms of our game plan in 2016, we once again relied on the strong team spirit of our crew, says Kay Kratky, CEO of Austrian Airlines.

“They were convincing in their wing play, and were clearly superior in customer offense. We want to win the world championship next year,” he added.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are widely known as the Passengers Choice Awards with people of more than 104 different nationalities participating in passenger satisfaction surveys covering over 280 airlines. The Skytrax survey measures quality standards across 41 key performance indicators of front-line products and services in the airline industry.
