Titled “Your Story Gives Us the Strength to Go On”, TIF organizers invite past visitors and participants to send in their stories, photos or memorabilia by September 9. All material may be sent here. The best stories, photos and collectables will be selected for the promotion of the event on television and in newspapers, with the “owners” winning free access to the 81st trade show this year to be held on September 10-18. “The goal of the project is to create memories for the younger generations”, said TIF-Helexpo CEO Kyriakos Pozrikidis, during a press conference on Monday, adding that the 81st show will this year host Russia as its special guest with 100 Russian companies already on the list of participants. First held on October 3, 1926, the fair is of great political importance as every year, Greece’s prime minister presents the government’s annual policies in his key note address.
