Greek chef, award-winning cookbook author and passionate pioneer of healthy Greek cuisine, Diane Kochilas, will take passengers and visitors on a journey “Beyond Tzatziki” at a special event at Athens International Airport (AIA).

The “Beyond Tzatziki” event will take place on Thursday, July 21, from 1 to 3 pm (Departures, Entrance 4, “Aegean Lounge”, admission free) and Friday, July 22, from 11 to 12 noon (Departures, Shopping Centre Airport, admission free).

The event is part of the “Lunchphoria” concept of the airport’s digital campaign “Speak Aθenian. Be an Aθenian.” .

AIA_lunchphoria_1The campaign, launched in December by AIA and Marketing Greece, aims to promote Athens as an ideal city break destination through a new hybrid lexicon. The campaign revolves around combinations of Greek and English words and letters (such as Hipstorical, Philosofa, Theatricult and Bistrocrαcy).

The campaign constitutes the third part of the AΘenian… trilogy; it is, namely, the continuation of last year’s campaign “I’m an Athenian too”, as well as of the Athens International Airport’s previous campaign “PerhaΨ you’re an AΘenian too!”. By following the campaigns, participants initially “acknowledged” their Athenian identity, and then “became” Athenians. Now, they live their Athenian experience, and… speak “Athenian” as well!

The campaign is being held under the auspices of the City of Athens with the support of the Athens, Attica and Argosaronic Hotel Association, Aegean Airlines and Swiss.
