Traveling on a Greek ferry? Do you know your rights? A special event on July 22 at the port of Rafina will inform passengers of their rights and all they need to know in case of delays and cancellations.

Titled “Know Your Rights and Claim Them”, the campaign is organized by the European Consumer Center of Greece and the Hellenic Consumers’ Ombudsman with the support of the Shipping and Island Policy ministry, the Hellenic Coast Guard and the Rafina Port Authority.

Representatives from the European Consumer Center and the Consumers’ Ombudsman will be located next to the port entrance between 7.30am and 11am and will inform passengers of their ferry travel rights, including how to claim, how to resolve disputes amicably, re-routing and reimbursement as well as rights of redress, providing material in both Greek and English.

For more details, visit the European Consumer Center of Greece and the Hellenic Consumers’ Ombudsman.
