Nissos -ΣΑΜΟΣ

A new ferry operated by Hellenic Seaways is set to hit Greek waters on  Friday, serving Piraeus – Mesta Chios – Mytilini – Limnos – Thessaloniki, the company said this week.

With a capacity of 2,200 passengers, the Nissos Samos’ first voyage will be inaugurated later today by Shipping and Island Policy Minister Thodoris Dritsas.

In efforts to attract passengers and boost tourist traffic to the North Aegean islands (bearing the brunt of the refugee influx), Hellenic Seaways has announced a series of discounts under its ongoing “Deals for You” program which include offering 100 19-euro tickets on the Piraeus-Chios Mesta route every week. Additionally, for the same itinerary, reservations for two passengers plus car will receive a 50 percent discount on the vehicle rate. Sales are valid through to September 27. hellenic seaways

Meanwhile, the company also offers reduced prices on tickets to Samos and and to Lesvos and Chios for OTE – Cosmote subscribers.

Founded in 2005, Hellenic Seaways operates passenger and freight ferry services in the Aegean and Adriatic Seas.
