If swimming “au naturel” is your thing, then pack your bag and set off to some of the best nudist beaches across Greece. Don’t expect to find massive signs indicating where these seaside bare-all havens might be as most of them are the well-kept secret of the “birthday-suit” crowd.

Mikri Banana on Skiathos, Velanio on Skopelos, the easily accessible Kipoi Afiarti on Karpathos, and Kedros and Livadi beaches on tiny Donousa, all offer the bare-alls exclusive spots to shed it all.

Kokkini Ammos near Matala in Crete is a must; Sky Travel named this one of   the best nudist beaches in the world.

The first officially popular nude beach of the country, Super Paradise on cosmopolitan Mykonos, has it all: the partying, the crystal clear waters and the eye-candy. Another nudist beach on Mykonos — smaller in size — can be found between Elia and Agrari.

A favorite for many returning tourists across Europe, the Camping beach on Antiparos offers peace, quiet, spirituality and some good old fun.

Campers’ hot spot Hiliadou on Evia, and once a hippies haven, Myrtiotissa on  Corfu for the aura.

For those of you on a city-break in Athens, don’t fret, there’s a shore for you too.

Ramounta beach, some 65km away from Athens towards Grammatiko, offers the exclusivity of a far-off island. Mavro Lithari beach between the seaside resort towns of Saronida and Anavyssos, and the pebble stone beach on the left of Cape Sounio under the imposing Temple of Poseidon both provide a spot away from the crowds… away from Athens.
