Athens International Airport and the Athens Photo Festival invite visitors and passengers to have a stimulating photographic “dialogue”

athens_photo_festival_aphf-logo-Athens International Airport, in cooperation with the Athens Photo Festival, is hosting a photo exhibition entitled “1%: Privilege in a Time of Global Inequality” that approaches the issue of the exploding gap between poverty and wealth in the world.

Through documentary shots by renowned photographers, the exhibition displays the growing inequality between contradictory life conditions, leading to the “1%” phenomenon: the richest one percent of the world’s population owns almost half of total assets.
