Hilton Athens Lends a Helping Hand via ‘Dine with Purpose’

For every bread basket served at its in-house restaurants daily, the Hilton Athens donates one more to people in need as part of its latest collaboration with social welfare groups Boroume and Nostos with the support of Pnyka bakery.

Hilton Athens has joined non-profit group Boroume, active in reducing food waste and supporting the undernourished, and NGO Nostos battling social exclusion and unemployment.

In cooperation with traditional “Pnyka” bakery, Hilton Athens offers freshly baked bread baskets daily as part of its ongoing social responsibility program “Dine with Purpose”.

The Hilton Athens has remained committed to offering community support as well as to protecting the environment. Social responsibility initiatives include recycling and energy management projects as well as offering young people the chance to train in hospitality improving their prospects of employment.

The hotel has received the International Environmental Green Key for its efforts on top of ISO certifications for quality, environmental management and energy control.
