Event News Art on Mykonos: ‘Blue’ by Leda de Piart on Display at Grace Mykonos by GTP editing team 3 August 2016 written by GTP editing team 3 August 2016 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 40 Aiming to offer unique experiences to guests, the Grace Mykonos of the Grace Hotels Group is hosting a solo photography exhibition entitled “Blue” by Leda de Piart. The exhibition includes series of photographs taken mostly from the Cycladic islands and is divided in two main sections, one consisting of architectural photographs and one of photographs in which the water element holds the leading part. Following the principals of minimalism, where colours, shapes and lines dominate, Leda de Piart reveals the special character and beauty of the Cyclades uniquely, with the incomparable architecture, the “apollonian” light, the dazzling white and the clear blue colour of the sky and water, all combined together harmoniously in plain compositions. Leda de Piart has studied art, and she has recently engaged with photography. “Blue” will be on display at the small art gallery of Grace Mykonos, which was created in partnership with the renowned Athens-based Skoufa Gallery. The exhibition will run until August 31. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
