Athens Airport Launches ‘Flights’… to the Moon for 4th Year

AIA_logo_fly me_4“Fly me to the Moon 4”, and let me play… “Among the Stars!” at the airport!

For the fourth year in a row, flights… to the moon continue at Athens International Airport with new concerts, performances, games and art events.

The 4th season of “Fly me to the Moon”, a cooperation between the Athens airport and ελculture, which premiered on July 19 with the performance of composer-violinist Evanthia Remboutsika, this year will take passengers and airport visitors on a journey “Among the Stars”, moving on to the third verse of the famous song, following the “Fly me to the moon” and “Let me Play” parts of the programme.

Music, art, games and… Stars at the airport!

AIA_fly_me_4bThe Greek National Opera, Encardia, interactive happenings and a special surprise event, are among the highlights of the new cultural programme.

Meanwhile, the airport continues with “Let Me Play”, the most interactive part of the programme with floor games, and the “Perform in Art” events, during which more artists get inspired from the airport and will invite the audience to live out an authentic musical, visual and dancing experience.

The event programme of “Fly me to the Moon 4” includes:

  • October 13, 2016: Among the Stars Surprise Music Event
  • December 24 & 31, 2016: Perform in ArtChristmas Events

  • May 19, 2017: Music PortGreek National Opera
